Membership

Thank G-d, our shul is fortunate enough to have many assets with which we can serve our congregation, our community, and the Jewish People worldwide.

  1. We have an eruv, enabling young families to come to shul with small children and socialize on Shabbat.
  2. We are in the process of building mikva'ot - a mikveh for women, and a dish mikveh.
  3. We have weekly Torah classes at the shul and at Salem Towers, 280 Salem Street in Malden.
  4. We offer scholarships to members for Jewish Day Schools and Jewish Day Camps.
  5. We have a kiddush and se'udah shlishit every Shabbat, which is the perfect opportunity to sit and mingle with your friends.
  6. We have holiday celebrations year round - a Simchat Torah luncheon, Chanukah banquet, Purim Party, and Shavuot dinner and learning.
  7. We host multiple Shabbatonim throughout the year, with engaging and exciting guest speakers from around the world.
  8. Congregation Beth Israel's Ruderman Family Endowment Fund makes many charitable contributions to many, many different Jewish organizations throughout the United States and around the world.
